I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! My weekend was FAB-U-LOUS! I got lots of rest and just focused on doing only the things I love. I learned that I should do that more often...
I want to start the week off with something fun and inspirational. Last week, I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful event honoring Room Service Atlanta. Room Service Atlanta is an organization of local interior designers who use their talents to make that Atlanta community a much better place. I did a post on their first project at the Nicholas House here. It was a perfectly successful project and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams hosted a beautiful event to celebrate their success.
Here are some highlights...

Erika and Dayka are the leading ladies of Room Service Atlanta- and two of the most wonderful people I have met here in Atlanta.

I got there a little early, so I had time to check out the store. If you have never been to Mitchell Gold +Bob Williams, now is the time to visit the store or visit their website. This was my first visit and I found their furniture to be quite amazing. Their furniture is a perfect mix of modern and traditional. I loved all of the clean lines and the neutral tones- my favorite type of design.
No event is perfect without good food- and the food was SO good!

I loved the dessert! They were cake pops from the Candy Cake Company. So so so good! I think they would be quite perfect for a baby or wedding shower, too.
The best part of the event for me was meeting other wonderful bloggers and being able to put a face with a name...

This is me and my girl Lori of Lori May Interiors. I met her during the Nicholas House project, but we were able to doing some more catching up at the event. Such a sweet person...

Meet (from left) Rhoda of Southern Hospitality, Renae of Renae Moore Designs, and Angela of The Painted House. Rhoda and I are both GRITS (Girls Raised In The South). I learned that term from her. You can only imagine that she is quite hilarious...
I also had the pleasure of meeting Rashon (aka Mr. Goodwill Hunting). His presence was quite a surprise to me and most everyone at the event. He is a real and genuine person who is also truly talented. He has a successful blog, is the king of thrifting, and has been on the Nate Berkus Show three times! I'm so excited to see where his talents will take him to next! He is currently offering design services via Skype. How creative is that?? Be sure to check out his blog if you are interested!
I had so much fun at this event and am so excited for Room Service Atlanta. Erika and Dayka were recently featured in Atlanta Magazine and I couldn't be more happier for them. They are working on a project for the fall and I will certainly be the first one to sign up to volunteer!
