Do you sometimes struggle with being fashionable, yet professional at work? I feel like there is such a fine line these days! Some environments are conservative, others are not and others accept something in between. So I asked Gaby, the fashionista behind The Vault Files, to give us a little advice on how to be stylish and professional for any type of work environment. This is gonna be good...

Hi everyone! Is Gaby from The Vault Files thrilled to be here today at Savor Home sharing some tips on how to look fashionable yet professional at work.
In my opinion, to look fashionable yet professional, you should start with some basic staples in your wardrobe and then build some fun around it with modern pieces. Also, it's very important that everything fits well, so if something doesn't fit properly, take it to the tailor and have it fixed, it really makes a big difference, otherwise toss it (donate it).
I think you don't need a huge "work" wardrobe, just the right pieces to re-mix and create interesting and current looks. I got so inspired by Tiffany's suggestion for this post that I decided to continue this post on my blog for the next couple of weeks. I'll show you how you can create multiple looks with just 4 pieces of each category. So, beside these pieces, I have chosen 2 more in each category (for a total of 20) that I'll remix to create different looks. So, if you want to check them out I'll see you guys girls on the blog ;)
Staples:Ralph Lauren Black double face wool Giavanna jacket, Jil Sander Lola pleated-collar cotton shirt, J.Crew Pencil Skirt in Super 120's, Alexander McQueen Pants, Lauren by Ralph Lauren Amelie Pumps
Color: H&M Blazer, Malene Birger Tie neck Blouse, J.Crew No. 2 pencil skirt in double-serge cotton, Ash Great Bis Peep Toes, J.Crew Minnie Pant
Prints: H&M Floral Pants, Ivanka Trump Indicon Pumps, Marc by Marc Jacobs Cream polka dot silk top, Tibi Printed Cotton-blend sateen blazer, Topshop Flock Spot Pencil Skirt
* Thank you so much Tiffany for having me! As I told you before, you got my creative juices flowing ;)
