I always get excited when I find a beautiful restaurant to show and tell you about. But I am especially excited about this one! Unlike the other restaurants I've featured, St. Cecilia is here in Atlanta! This is my most favorite restaurant in Atlanta at the moment - which is evidenced by the fact that I've been four times in the last six months or so. It is so gorgeous and the food is so good! I've got a few recommendations for you if you ever eat there, but let's start with the interiors first... The space was designed by Meyer Davis, a NYC design boutique that specializes in high-end residential and commercial interiors. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that it is both elegant and comfortable at the same time. Statement lighting, modern seating, and geometric fabrics and flooring are seamlessly integrated with rustic hardwood floors and antique furniture. The huge windows let in the most amazing lighting during the day while making the space extra elegant at night. I just adore it...
Now for the food. The menu beautifully marries seafood and pasta. The menu changes daily, but the consistent items I love are the charred octopus (don't knock it until you try it) and the whipped warm ricotta. The ricotta is served with the best and freshest bread you will ever have in your life. The various risottos and corn ravioli are also favorites of mine. Their specialty cocktails are almost too pretty to drink and the desserts... my gosh. If you ever try the dark chocolate mousse, let me know what you think. So good!
Amazing! I have to visit Atlanta. It seems as though you have so many good restaurants to go to and the ones that are popping up are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWould you happen to know the manufacturer of the dining chairs by the banquets? I'm in love with them but have no clue who makes them.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting dialogue is price comment. I feel that it is best to write more on this matter, it may not be a taboo topic however usually individuals are not enough to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers. ledopensigns.com
