Alright friends! It's Christmas Eve - which came along at lightening speed this year in my book. Anyone else feel that way?? I'm signing off for the rest of the week so that I can fully enjoy all that Christmas has to offer - which for me is family, food, pajama days, gift giving, more food, and finishing a book I started about three months ago! Ha. Obviously food is super important. I'll be serving up my special lasagna on Christmas Eve and seafood gumbo will be served on Christmas Day. No one in my family is from New Orleans, but somehow my mom has mastered her gumbo recipe. Can't wait... Anyway, I hope you and your family have the BEST holiday. I hope it is filled with lots of love, warmth, joy, and peace! xo, Tiffany

ReplyDeleteToday, I want to share a little part of my bedroom with you! I love decorating for Christmas! This year, now that I am married, I wanted to show you how I like to spruce up my bedroom for Christmas! I got many of these smaller pillows at Target this year! The smaller ones are from the dollar section at Target! The red/green make it a little more festive! My nightstand has HotSkwash pumpkins on them! I have a lot of these! They are so addicting! Each pumpkin is hand made using real pumpkin stems! They come in so many fun colors!
ReplyDeleteIn preparation for Christmas 2021, I thought I would start with a Christmas story and then get into some fun ideas for decorating the outside of our home. I grew up going to church on Christmas Eve and during worship my mother would make a small Christmas wreath for the door. I can never remember if it was ever put on the door or if it was just a Couple Ornaments plain piece of paper. Regardless, we always put it on the door and the neighborhood kids would often stop by to give us cards and cookies. Over the years, we've gotten a lot of really poor cards from those same kids so I wanted to create a fun craft for Christmas 2021 that our youngest daughter could do while she's at home.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very good post indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it in my lunch time. Will surely come and visit this blog more often. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteIt is important for our students to be able to quickly identify sight words and then to be able to spell them. This activity makes a fun literacy center, fast finisher activity, or morning work task.

ReplyDeleteI wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Please have a happy and funny holiday season. While doing so, or more probably while celebrating, it is very interesting to think how different societies and tribes adapt the Christmas traditions. For example, the hells angels vest is a very recognizable logo which is worn at the charity rides or at holiday rides. It brings to one’s reliance that, in the world that people live, love can be received from unexpected individuals. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my friends.
