Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! My weekend was quite perfect thank you very much! I ran a few errands, took a little nap during and a Saturday afternoon rain shower (the best!), and baked the most PERFECT holiday cookies! I'll tell you about those tomorrow... But what I did on Sunday was what I wanted to tell you about today. I spent the day with my good friend and photographer, Paula Coldiron of Two Ellie. I promise she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I just love hanging out with her. She and I worked on a really fun and exciting collaboration in her dining room (see below!) that I will be sharing with you soon. Can't wait! Speaking of her home, I gotta show some of it to you. She recently moved into a 1930s bungalow that needed lots of love. This was my first time seeing it in person and well - there is a whole lot of love there. The decor in the home creates a lot of warmth and I immediately felt that as soon as I walked in. The home is very personable, comfortable, full of character and charm- and it just makes you feel very welcome. Paula affectionately refers to the home as "Casa Coldiron, " so I thought I would share a few photos that I took (along with some of her photos) of her home during our little breaks... You can see much more (including the amazing before and afters) on her blog!
Paula- What a lovely home! I love the shade of the exterior door in Image #2. Every time I look at the picture, it looks like a different color...from navy...to brown...to black. That just shows how rich the wood is and how it appropriate for all types of occasions. Feel free to invite me over any time!
ReplyDeletetiffany! what a great idea and post. of course, you know I ADORE you both, so it's no wonder I love Paula's "new" home and style. You're right, it oozes comfort and charm. And that front door! wow, you had me at the first image. All the terrific artwork is the best, too.
ReplyDeleteAre you guys gonna make Scotts this Friday? I'm planning on it. Would love to see you two there! love to you both, donna
There are so many little places where the eye can curl up and sit a spell. Thanks for sharing this delightful home.
